BBC NEWS

9th august 2011

- david cameron said 'if your old enough to commit the crimes then you're old enough to face the punishments'

- the first day was predominantly youths ages 14-17

Monday the 8th august 2011
- moral panics
police couldnt protect us from the youth and from the generations today
- 24 hours a day on the tv
- if the bbc hadnt shown it how it was we may not off got so worried
- the whole of croydon wasnt on fire (just george street and the main street)
(again moral panics is exaggerating)
overall the bbc blaimed the youth and were against them.
in total most people watched the bbc news than anywhere else so thats what they believed.
